Faults can occur on both internal and external cable. Cable can be damaged by rodents (mice, insects, possums) and pets. It can also be damaged when renovating, gardening or by contractors, or can deteriorate over time because of moisture, or be affected by lightning and power surges during storms. Faults can also be the result of damaged sockets or other equipment connected to the cable, such as fax machines, phones or phone systems.

OSA Communications can test both your internal and external cable for faults and then give you a diagnosis.  We can then repair the fault, replace the cable or sockets if required. We will also repair or replace your lead-in cable if that is the problem. In instances where the fault is proven to be out in the network, we will inform you and can assist you with contacting your provider and reporting the fault.
